Our Mission

Healthy Humboldt is a coalition of organizations and individuals working for a County General Plan that provides healthy housing and transportation choices while protecting our farms, forests and watersheds.

Our Vision

The decisions we make in the General Plan will shape Humboldt County's economy, environment, and public health well into the future. From walkable neigborhoods and safe routes to school to thriving farms and forests, it's up to us to promote a vision for generations to come.

Healthy Humboldt is a project of the Northcoast Environmental Center's Sustainable Communities Program and is funded by member support and a grant from the California Endowment.
