You can voice your opinions at Board of Supervisors hearings. There is opportunity for public comment (generally limited to 3 minutes) at each of these meetings. Come on out to the next hearing and let your voice be heard.

Our elected representatives need to hear from you. Send a letter, comment at a meeting or contact your Supervisor directly. The Board meets every Tuesday at 9am at the Humboldt County Courthouse.

Write a Letter to the Editor
Write a Letter to the Editor and send to one or more of our local Newspapers. Here are a few basic rules to follow:
- Letters should be 250 words, or less. That doesn't count a person's name or city, just the body of the letter.
- The letter should include your name, address and phone number.
- Do not submit form letters. Using your own words is a lot and has a better chance of being published.
